Sheila is a Registered Nurse and a Long Term Care Planning Advisor. She focuses on long term care planning for businesses, individuals, and organizations. Her unique business and medical experience and skills in caring for people, as well as her extensive network of professionals, makes her ideally suited to assess needs and offer solutions.

Long Term Care Insurance is becoming a sought-after benefit because of the tax incentives, discounts and underwriting concessions available to group plans. Employers and individuals can avoid financial difficulties and remain productive when caregiving issues arise.

As an independent advisor, Sheila is licensed in several states and represents many carriers. When long term care insurance is an option, Sheila will ‘do the shopping’ for the client, develop customized plans and assist them to select the options most suitable to their particular needs and circumstances.

Ms. White is a resource to elder law attorneys and other professionals, is a frequent speaker, has appeared on radio and television programs and has authored numerous articles. She is an active member of many professional and community associations and shares her expertise pro bono with several organizations.

She is a former Captain in the U.S. Army Nurse Corps and served in Vietnam. Her extensive experience also includes hospital nursing, positions in education and academic institutions and a corporate career in the healthcare industry.

Sheila has earned the designations of CLTC (Certified, Long Term Care) and CSA (Certified Senior Advisor), and holds a Masters Degree from Columbia University in addition to her Nursing degree.
