Brendan F. Daly Czepiga Daly Dillman LLC

Brendan F. Daly is a principal of Czepiga Daly Dillman LLC, where he practices in the areas of elder law, estate and disability planning, and estate administration. Brendan has received the designation of Certified Elder Law Attorney from the National Elder Law Foundation as a result of his experience, education, and testing by the Foundation (recognized by the American Bar Association but not by the Rules Committee of the Connecticut Superior Court).

Brendan's Medicaid planning experience involves implementing strategies to maximize clients' asset protection. He helps his senior clients obtain Medicaid benefits for nursing home care and he has been successful in his many appeals of Medicaid cases at administrative fair hearings. Brendan also assists clients with disability planning; this includes, drafting trusts that enable disabled individuals to retain assets while preserving their Medicaid eligibility.

Brendan's objective as an estate planning attorney is fulfilling his clients' wishes while providing quality legal advice about the implications involved with will and trust distributions. He believes in providing the highest quality work product with the least amount of complexity and costs involved. Brendan believes that every client deserves the same level of attention and excellence, regardless of the complexity involved in their estate plan.

Brendan is a frequent lecturer for professional organizations, such as the National Business Institute and the Connecticut Society of Certified Public Accounts. Brendan is an adult education instructor, teaching courses on estate and Medicaid planning in many towns throughout Hartford County. He also conducts seminars at area senior centers, nursing homes, civic groups and charitable groups regarding long-term care issues and estate planning.

Brendan has written numerous articles regarding estate planning, Medicaid and long term care, which have appeared in professional journals and newspapers. He is a member of the Executive Committee of the Elder Law section of the Connecticut Bar Association and he is a member of the Estates and Probate section. He is also a member of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys, including its Connecticut Chapter. Brendan serves as a Corporator of Hartford Hospital, and he is a Director of the Jefferson House Nursing Home Advisory Committee. Brendan has appeared on several local television and radio programs as a guest speaker to discuss elder law and estate planning issues.

Brendan lives in Simsbury, Connecticut, with his wife and two children.
