Comfort Keepers The Heart of Comforting In-Home Care
Comfort Keepers provides in-home care that makes a difference in the lives of seniors and other adults. For over a decade, clients and their families have entrusted their care to us in hundreds of local communities. Whether companionship services or in-home safety solutions, we provide the support and services that improve lives and enable independent living at home.
Interactive Caregiving TM is Comfort Keepers' unique philosophy of care that improves a senior's quality of life. We strive to keep our clients mentally stimulated, physically active, and socially engaged. Interactive Caregiving is not a special service, but rather a philosophy of care that is incorporated into our companionship, homemaking, and personal care services.
Our caregivers, special people we refer to as Comfort Keepers, take everyday activities and transform them into opportunities to communicate with and engage their clients.
Our Comfort Keepers are:
Selected after a rigorous interviewing process including national
background checks and personal and professional references
Our employees, not contractors
Bonded, insured, and covered by Workers' Compensation
Trained specially to provide an interactive care solution for
clients

My wife and I realized the tremendous need for a compassionate
trustworthy senior service organization following significant learning
experiences with our own parents some ten (10) years ago. Even though we
had helped with the senior ministry at our church, we were not at all
prepared for the family dynamics and personal issues that surfaced following
the death of my father and the realization that Mom could no longer live
alone without assistance. We quickly found out that the situation was made
much worse by the fact that we lived approximately six (6) hours travel time
away. Unfortunately the rural community where Mom lived did not have a
Comfort Keepers office nearby, so the next several months were fraught with
mistakes and frustrations. We have taken the lessons we learned and applied
them to our Comfort Keepers business. We treat our clients and our
employees as members of our own family. We feel that we have been blessed
with a special opportunity to
service seniors in our community. Mike & Judy McGee
