Lucinda Crandell Pruss is a life-long Brevard County, Florida resident. Growing up in Palm Bay, Lucinda was always interested in elder law and helping others. These interests were enhanced after watching her grandmother struggle with Alzheimer’s disease and her grandfather be taken advantage of during the aftermath of Hurricane Frances.
Lucinda graduated from Florida A&M University, College of Law in the top ten percent of her class. Not only did Lucinda succeed academically, but she succeeded in national litigation competitions where she earned a reputation for being an aggressive and zealous advocate.
Lucinda gained extensive experience in the practice of law having interned at two local law firms and the State Attorney’s Office of the Eighteenth Judicial Circuit. At the State Attorney’s Office, she worked on a wide range of legal issues and participated in numerous trials in both felony and misdemeanor cases.
Lucinda is a member of the Florida Bar, the Brevard County Bar Association, and the American Bar Association. She is admitted to practice law in all Florida courts.
Prior to law school, Lucinda studied accounting at the Florida Institute of Technology (F.I.T.) and Florida Atlantic University. During this time, Lucinda worked at an accounting firm where she prepared income tax returns for individuals and businesses. She also spent a considerable amount of time helping her mature clients in insurance selection and financial planning. Lucinda’s accounting and financial planning background enables her to bring valuable insight to her bankruptcy and foreclosure clients.
