Practical Solutions provides downsizing and relocation services for seniors. We conduct a complimentary consultation to develop a relocation plan, sort and downsize the home, pack contents of home, arrange for excess items to be sold or dispersed to family or a local charities, and we unpack and organize the new home. We are members of the National Association for Senior Move Managers (NASSM) and The National Association of Professional Organizers (NAPO).

We also provide professional organizing services for seniors who want to stay in their home, but need it to be safe and organized. We specialize in helping clients who suffer from OCD/Hoarding to help create a safe, comfortable environment.

Cathy Bates started Practical Solutions in 2003 out of a desire to help people get and stay organized. She and her highly qualified staff love helping seniors transition to a more simple home where they can concentrate on enjoying life without being consumed with the duties involved with caring for a large home. They help seniors choose the items in the home that they value most to take to the new location and set up a home where they are surrounded by the things they love and enjoy. We help the transition go as smoothly as possible and treat our clients like they are family.
