Homewatch CareGivers of Chicago: How we got here!

This home care agency was inspired by a mother with small children. She needed additional help at home; thus, the search for a quality caregiver began. Through the search, she discovered the difficulty in finding quality caregivers with the compassion to care for people.

After a long and arduous search for a caregiver for her children, she thought she had hired the ideal person. How wrong she was became clear one evening by her son after she returned home from a long day at work. When her son saw her entering the home, he ran and got the caregivers shoes and handed them to the caregiver. His mother took the hint and knew it was time to begin her search for a qualified and compassionate caregiver.

This experience with her own family fueled her desire to make a difference in other people's lives. She accomplished this through providing a premier home care agency that guarantees each client to Protect Independence, Preserve Dignity, and Provide Peace of Mind. We believe all of these factors are crucial when providing premier home care.

Our Community Relations Advocate, Katherine, was brought to our team to reach out to families and facilities in our area. Her role is to educate on the choices families have for in home care and to also provide direction in circumstances that require additional assistance. Katherine has seen the importance of quality home care through caring for her family members. Her goal is to help families learn about their choices in home care and to outline the different options available.

Katherine also works closely with Veteran Associations and is dedicated to help Vets receive the aide and assistance they deserve!
