Chad NeilsenI am the Director of the Southeast Idaho Care Planning Council with the Idaho Care Planning Council (IdCPC). Our Council is designed to be a single source of eldercare providers & advisors who can help the public manage their specific needs and concerns.

Our mission is to offer direct access to experts who can provide clear solutions to the difficult problems facing Idaho's Seniors. So please, USE OUR RESOURCES and let us offer valuable input from respected advisors to help you make difficult decisions.

Some of our particular areas of expertise are: Elder Law, Home Healthcare, Financial Services, Reverse Mortgages, Veterans Benefits, Medicare, and Real Estate, just to name a few.

about Chad Nielsen

With an extensive background in business management, Chad Nielsen began his career in the financial services industry more than a decade ago. Chad currently serves as president and founder of Gateway Financial and Estate Planning, Inc., Gateway Insurance Services, and Gateway Consulting. Chad’s experience and education in the financial industry has aided him in assisting employees of the Federal Government. As a representative of “the Federal Benefits Advisory Group” Chad taught classes on a variety of financial topics to include Retirement, Investing, and Insurance. In 2001, Chad also helped establish the “Benefits Advisory Group” a privately owned company devoted to helping families achieve financial independence, he remains a member of the board of directors today. Drawing upon these experiences and many years of working in his family owned and operated business, Chad organized Gateway Financial in 2007. As a Registered Investment Advisory Firm, Gateway offers a diversified portfolio of investment and insurance solutions. These solutions help their clients to make educated choices that will help to protect assets, and grow their wealth, empowering them to live their dreams. Gateway Financial currently has offices in Pocatello and Idaho Falls, Idaho as well as a branch office in Logan Utah.

Chad’s community and civic work includes his 30 year relationship with the Boy Scouts of America where he has served as a charter member for over 30 years and volunteered with the organization in many different capacities.
