A person may be able to qualify for nursing home Medicaid
regardless of assets or income, without spending down assets. It is possible
to preserve assets for family members whether a person is going into a
nursing home soon or is already in a nursing home. The five year look back
period does not prevent the preservation of assets.
People work hard all their live to provide security for their families and a
better life for their children. Nursing home costs run approximately $85,000
a year, and a lifetime of hard work and saving can be wiped out in a few
short years.
It may be possible to avoid this fate. Please call me or another qualified
attorney to find out how.
