Expert Home Care is one of the largest exclusive providers of Live In home health care services in the State of New Jersey. Since its establishment in 1985, Expert Home Care continues to lead by example.
The New Jersey State Division of Consumer Affairs licenses Expert Home Care as a Health Care Services Firm. As required under this licensing, EHC is the direct employer of all it's personnel and assumes full responsibility for all employee related taxes to be withheld and insurances such as unemployment, disability and workman's compensation to be maintained. The regulations also state that any agency providing hands-on personal care and assistance must use a Certified home health aide who has been licensed by the NJ State Board of Nursing and that these aides are under the supervision of a licensed Registered Nurse.
The owners of Expert Home Care are Certified Senior Advisors (CSA) and belong to several local and national groups that support the home care industry and protect the consumer. Not all agencies are created equal. Ask us about the important safeguards you should be concerned with as a consumer.

Expert Home Care offers the following services 24 hours a day, seven days a week, on a personalized schedule basis depending upon the individual needs of our clients
Live-In Certified Home Health Aide
Working under an RN’s (Registered Nurse) supervision, these certified caregivers facilitate the many activities of daily living. They are thoroughly screened, tested, bonded and insured prior to placement in the home. All of our caregivers have successfully passed a Criminal Background Check and a Department of Motor Vehicles screening. These are some of the items our caregivers can help with:
Bathing
Toileting
Dressing
Ambulation/Transfers
Physical exercises
Medication Reminders
Accompany to Doctor appointments or social events
In addition, all caregivers will prepare nutritious meals, perform light housekeeping & can do all food shopping, as well as other errands, if needed (requires caregiver with drivers license and supplied automobile).
Live-In Homemakers/Companions
These non-certified caregivers are able to provide non-medical care. This includes light housekeeping, laundry, shopping, meal preparation, general supervision of the client, as well as companionship and socialization. The client must be able to ambulate freely and be continent to qualify for this type of service.
Alzheimer’s/Dementia Care and Supervision
Expert Home Care understands that clients with cognitive impairments such as Alzheimer's Disease or certain forms of Dementia have special needs and requirements. Our caregivers are knowledgeable, compassionate and have the patience and experience to deal with these special needs.
Hospice/Palliative Care and Supervision
Expert Home Care understands that clients with terminal illnesses deserve special care and supervision to ensure they remain comfortable and dignified during this difficult time. Our caregivers will work in conjunction with a Hospice RN or Hospice team to assist the client with their daily needs to ensure that they and their family can enjoy their remaining time together in the best way possible.
We have hourly caregivers available in select areas to provide any of the above services. Different schedules are available and certain minimums Apply. Call us for details.

All home health aides are NJ State certified and all personnel are carefully screened, tested and bonded prior to placement in the home. They are also required to pass pre-employment physicals and undergo competency evaluations. Expert Home Care also does comprehensive criminal background checks and DMV reports on all personnel. To ensure a successful placement, we match the caregiver's skill level to the specific needs and personality of each client.
