ComForcare Senior Services is a premier provider of private duty non-medical home care. Our caregivers provide personal care for those individuals seeking assistance with ADLs (activities of daily living). We provide these services in many settings including personal residences, assisted living facilities, nursing homes, hospitals or wherever our clients reside. Our History

ComForcare Senior Services began in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan in 1996 as a company dedicated to establishing a new standard in the quality of non-medical home care services provided to seniors and disabled individuals in our communities. Our ability to provide an unparalleled quality of care has led to a rapid expansion of our business. Our success has been directly attributable to the meticulous selection of the most highly qualified, responsible and compassionate caregivers. We understand that it takes a special caregiver to carry out our services, a person who gains more from their job than a good wage. For this reason, we operate under the credo that we will only hire a caregiver whom we would feel comfortable sending into our own parent's home.

About Our Caregivers

Why choose the services of ComForcare Senior Services? The answer is simple... unlike many home care agencies in this industry, ComForcare determined long ago that the highest quality of care is provided when an agency specializes in one specific level of home care services.

Moreover, by specializing entirely in the Private Duty level of services, ComForcare is able to devote all of our resources (such as recruiting, screening and training of staff) toward the retention of home care's most reliable, knowledgeable and experienced caregivers.

As a result, ComForcare's clients do not just receive care from the standard home caregivers, who have general or limited knowledge of different services in the home care field. Rather, our clients receive personalized services from a select group of caregivers, who have extensive experience in the specific levels of Private Duty Care that our clients require.

Every ComForcare employee is meticulously SCREENED, BONDED and INSURED through a rigorous multi-step hiring process. Each applicant must convincingly pass the following screening/testing protocols:

  • National League of Nursing Competency
  • OSHA Universal Precautions
  • State Criminal History Clearance
  • Tuberculosis (TB) Screening
  • Verification of Adequate Work References
  • State Driver's Record Clearance
  • Continuing education in-services for caregivers

Services

ComForcare Senior Services provides professional personal care and companionship services allowing our clients to safely remain in their own homes, senior living community or medical facility. Clinical research has revealed that people stay healthier and recover more quickly from illness or surgery in the comfort of their own home. However, today's
busy lifestyles can deprive family and friends of the time and energy required to keep a loved one safely at home. Fortunately, we provide the necessary help to meet all of the daily needs of the home-bound individual.
