NAOMI A. KAUFFMAN has practiced family law for 30 years. She is a member of the Bar in the States of California, Kansas and Missouri. She has been a mediator for 18 years and is a court-approved mediator for the Jackson County, Missouri Family Court.

Naomi practices law in the areas of divorce, custody, adoption, as well as in areas of elder law, including probate, trusts and estate planning. She is a member of the American Bar Association Section of Dispute Resolutionand serves on the Editorial Review Board of the Association of Family and Conciliation Courts. She has served as an adjunct professor of Family Law Practice at the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Law. She received the PRESIDENT"S AWARD from the Kansas City Metropolitan Bar Association for her service as Chairman of the Alternative Dispute Resolution Committee. She has also served as a mediation coach and trainer at Johnson County Community College. She has presented at seminars nationally and internationally in Kansas, Missouri, Arizona,Hawaii and Canada on issues related to family law and alternative dispute resolution.
