Helping Families Navigate Medicaid and Long-Term Care Decisions Nationwide
Need Medicaid for a parent or spouse - and don't know what to do next?
There is a path to Medicaid approval - and getting it right matters.
WHAT MOST FAMILIES ARE FACING
Things change quickly. Decisions come fast.
• A parent or spouse suddenly needs long-term care.
• A hospital or facility is pushing for answers
• Savings are disappearing faster than expected
• You're being told you may not qualify
• You're getting different answers from different people
If this feels familiar, you're not behind - you're exactly where most families are when they find us.
The 4 Steps to Medicaid Approval
We help families move from confusion to a clear, structured path - without unnecessary losses, delays, or costly mistakes.
- Eligibility - We show you where you truly stand - and what you're actually allowed to keep.
- Income & Asset Assessment - We identify what can be protected and structure it the right way.
- Strategic Planning - We build a plan that avoids delays, penalties, and denials.
- State Process Navigation - We coordinate the application and guide the process step-by-step to approval - collaborating with attorneys, care providers, and other professionals.
WHAT MAKES US DIFFERENT
Most professionals manage one piece of the situation. We help you understand and navigate the entire picture - care, placement, finances, Medicaid, timing, and next steps.
We work for the family. Not the facility. Not the care provider.

About Dave Brandt
Founder, LifeCare Senior Advocates
Most families reach out when something has changed - and they need to make the right decision quickly. If that's where you are, you're not alone.
For more than 25 years, I've worked inside the long-term care system, including senior leadership roles within the long-term care insurance divisions of General Electric and John Hancock. I've seen how the system works from the inside - where families get stuck, what tends to go wrong, and where the real options are.
Today, I use all of that experience for one purpose: helping families navigate care, Medicaid, and critical decisions with clarity and direction. I focus on the full picture - care needs, financial realities, Medicaid eligibility, and timing - so families can make informed decisions without unnecessary stress or confusion.
My loyalty is to the family - and no one else.
WHAT FAMILIES SAY
"He was there for us."
"We thought Mom's memory care would take everything, including the house. Dave laid out a Medicaid plan that covered the costs and let Dad stay home - and he stuck with us through the entire process."
- Vernon J. - Washington
"We had no idea where to start."
"We got Dave's name from a friend. My sister needed assisted living, and we had to file for Medicaid. We had no idea where to start. Dave found her a community and carried the Medicaid process from start to finish. He kept us involved and made sure the decisions were ours. He took the pressure off our shoulders."
- Frank H. - Missouri
"Dave just knew what to do."
"Our Mom only wanted Dave involved, not her daughters, she was afraid we'd put her somewhere. He brought us together, and found a home she actually liked. He guided the Medicaid planning and process, including the back-and-forth with the State, arranged her legal documents, and handled her mortgage lender. Dave just knew what to do."
- Carol J. and Patty K. - Illinois
"He changed the direction in our lives."
"When my dad passed away and left a $400,000 medical bill, we thought we were about to lose everything. Mom had dementia, no money, and nowhere to go. Dave managed her entire Medicaid case, found the right care, and then caught that my Dad and I shared the same name, and that huge debt wasn't even mine. He helped me get it wiped out and even helped repair things with my sister. He changed the direction of our lives.
- Jim B. - Virginia
