If you sell final expense or preneed insurance, we want to share a strategy with you that could result in a sale for every other potential purchaser that you meet with. In other words, you could possibly close 50% of your contacts through our strategy. It involves a planning approach instead of a sales approach. You help families solve their retirement or final years' challenges first and final expense or preneed insurance is a logical consequence of your assistance.
Our approach is based on solving the needs of what we call "aging seniors." These are individuals who are usually in their 80s or older, are losing their independence and typically rely on their children to help them make their decisions. We have designed a planning system specifically targeted at helping aging seniors. Using our system you will receive leads through presentations in the community or through referrals from senior service providers who work with this aging market.
You will almost exclusively will meet with the children of the aging seniors to help them solve the problems faced by their parents. We provide you an analysis and survey tool that you can complete using our software. Typically, you would not charge your client for this service but you could. The software produces an impressive printout with recommendations for the family on how to solve many of the challenges they are facing. Of course, one of these is having enough money left over to provide a decent funeral and burial. You can catch them at a stage where they still have enough income or assets to purchase coverage.
The beauty of our particular planning system is you are dealing with the children who also have a need for final expense or preplanning. The children of aging seniors are usually in their mid-50s through mid-60s. We provide you an additional retirement survey that focuses more on the needs for these children and that you will complete with the children to help them in their retirement years. The printout you provide will also emphasize the need for setting money aside for funeral and burial.
